Night Kickoffs Announced for Five Games

ATLANTA – Georgia State's 2023 football schedule will feature at least five games under the lights as the Sun Belt Conference announced kickoff times and television designations for the first three weeks of the season as well as all weeknight games.
 
Georgia State kicks off the season three months from today as the Panthers host Rhode Island on Thursday, Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
 
That is the first of four straight night games for the Panthers, who host UConn in Week 2 on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
 
Then GSU hits the road for its next two games, beginning at Charlotte on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. on ESPN+. Five days later, Georgia State plays a nationally-televised, Thursday night game at Coastal Carolina with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.
 
The Panthers play another Thursday night game on Oct. 26 at Georgia Southern in a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on ESPN2.

Kickoff times and television designations for all remaining games will be announced 12 days prior to each contest.
