Mann is Center Parc Student-Athlete of the Week

Georgia State basketball standout Jamaine Mann is the Center Parc Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week.

Mann averaged 17 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists last week, highlighted by the Panthers' win over rival Georgia Southern. He went 6-for-10 from 3-point range in the two contests.

Mann opened the week with 18 points and seven rebounds in the win against the Eagles. He also contributed three assists, two steals and a huge blocked shot in the final 90 seconds to help preserve the 64-60 victory.

The sophomore from Hampton, Ga., followed with a double-double against Southern Miss with 16 points and 10 rebounds, along with four assists.

Mann has scored in double figures in four straight games for the Panthers, now averaging 10.6 points and 4.9 rebounds on the season.
