HARRISONBURG, VA --The Georgia State volleyball team fell to Sun Belt Conference leader James MadisonĀ 3-0 (17-25, 19-25, 21-25) Thursday on the road at JMU Convocation Center.
Erin Wyatt finished with nine kills on the day to lead the Panthers (5-13, 2-5 Sun Belt). got 22 digs from Livy Kowalkowski to lead them defensively.
Georgia State and James Madison (14-4, 7-0 Sun Belt) play again Friday at 5 p.m.Ā

SET 3 | The Panthers came up short by the score of 25-21. Georgia State used a 5-0 scoring run, including three straight kills by Erin Wyatt, to take an 18-17 lead. The Panthers led 21-20 before JMU grabbed the advantage for good at 22-21 in a set that was tied up seven times.
