Blackmon Named to Alumni Association's 40 Under 40

Former Georgia State soccer standout Tiffany Blackmon has been recognized as part of the Georgia State Alumni Association's "40 Under 40" Class of 2023.

Blackmon, who graduated from Georgia State in 2007, is a college football sideline reporter for ESPN, working nationally-televised games across the country.

Prior to joining "the worldwide leader" in 2021, she spent more than five years with NFL Media as a reporter and Atlanta-based correspondent for the NFL Network. 

Blackmon previously worked as an anchor and reporter for Comcast SportsNet Houston and was host of "SportsNet Reports." She has also worked at KFOR-TV in Oklahoma City, served as sports director at KXXV-TV in Waco, Texas and was weekend sports anchor at KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, La. 

Blackmon, from Suwanee, Ga., and North Gwinnett High School, was a four-year letterwinner for the women's soccer team from 2003-06.

The 40 Under 40 program was started in 2018 and annually honors, recognizes and celebrates the most influential and impactful Georgia State graduates who embody the values of the university.

The "40 Under 40" class will be recognized during a special event March 31 (6-8:30 p.m.) at The Foundry at Puritan Mill. Purchase Tickets
