Women's Golf Adds Talented Signee

ATLANTA – Noemie Boulbes, a 17-year-old standout from Le Chaffat, France, has officially signed on to join the Georgia State women's golf team in the fall.

Boulbes comes to GSU on the trail of a myriad of accomplishments, including a 33rd place finish earlier this month in the French International Lady Juniors Championship where she shot 73-77.

In 2021, she won a French Grand Prix event, shooting 67-71, and also recorded two other Grand Prix victories, including 69-73-73 at the Grand Prix de Valcros.

That October, she finished tied for 7th place at the French U16/U18 Championship with 75-73-76-72, and in August, she finished 24th at the Italian International Junior Girls Championship with 75-72-70-77.

Boulbes' scoring average for the entire 2021 season was 75.

Among the most excited for Noemie's arrival at GSU is women's golf head coach, Jessica Joy Steward, who said of the phenom, "I'm thrilled to have Noemie join our team in August. She has gained a lot of international competitive experience over the past couple of years, and she knows how to win. Better yet, I've heard from so many people how great of a person she is. Noemie will fit in well with our family, and she will definitely help elevate our program to the next level."
