EDISTO ISLAND, S.C. – The Georgia State women's golf team closed out play at the Edisto Island Invitational tying for ninth place at The Plantation Course at Edisto Island.
The Panthers posted rounds of 299, 307 and 314 for a three-round total of 920.
Senior TK Kongthong led the way for Georgia State with a steady tournament performance, finishing tied for sixth with a six-over par 219 (74-74-71). Her final round was the team's low score of the day and one of the best in the field.
Lindsey Pak recorded a solid showing, tying for 21st at 14-over par 227 (76-72-79). Grace Kalina finished tied for 38th at 19-over par 232, followed by Madison Rookard in 56th at 29-over par 242, and Pariya Sanpanawat tied for 65th at 41-over par 254.
Individually, Gaemphuang Ketrahong competed as an individual and carded rounds of 80, 80 and 81 to finish 54th overall at 28-over par 241.
The Panthers will take a break from action for the reminder of the fall before resuming the season at the AGCP/UNCG Collegiate on Feb. 1-3.
