Milestones and Records from the Win over Georgia Southern

Georgia State used its high-powered rushing attack and opportunistic play by the defense to knock off Georgia Southern 41-33 for the Panthers' third straight victory over their in-state rival.

Noteworthy:

>Five turnovers and four interceptions both tie school records originally set vs. South Alabama in 2011.

>With 15 turnovers forced in six games, Georgia State is No. 2 in FBS in turnovers gained.

>Ten interceptions are tied for the Sun Belt lead and No. 3 in FBS.

>Jordan Veneziale had his third fumble recovery in the last two games. He is tied for the NCAA lead.

>Veneziale now has five fumble recoveries in his career, tying the GSU career record set by Bobby Baker (2015-16).

>Quavian White grabbed his fourth interception of the season. He is No. 1 Sun Belt/No. 4 FBS with 0.7 interceptions per game.

>White now has 11 career interceptions, the GSU career record and fifth among active FBS players. White's 41 career passes defended (interceptions plus breakups) are second among active FBS players.

>Georgia State has rushed for 634 yards IN THE LAST TWO GAMES. Jamyest Williams and Tucker Gregg each topped 100 yards in both games as the Panthers had multiple 100-yard rushers in back-to-back games for the first time.

>The Panthers lead the Sun Belt and rank No. 10 in FBS with 234.3 yards per game.

>Gregg scored two touchdowns to increase his school-record total to 22. Only Albert Wilson (26) has scored more touchdowns in a Georgia State uniform.

>Robert Lewis caught his sixth touchdown of the season. He is tied for the Sun Belt lead and No. 9 in FBS.
