It's All-Star time for many collegiate summer leagues, and Georgia State pitchers
Ryan Watson and
Seth Clark along with incoming infielder Jesse Donohoe have been named All-Stars in their respective leagues.
Watson, a right-hander from Sugar Hill, Ga., who just completed his third season for the Panthers, has had a strong summer for the Willmar (Minn.) Stingers in the Northwoods League. Watson (3-1) ranks third in the league with a 1.66 ERA and has collected 43 strikeouts with just three walks in 38 innings.
The Northwoods League will hold its All-Star Game July 20 in Mankato, Minn.
Clark and Donohoe are both playing in the Atlanta-based Sunbelt Baseball League, which will hold its All-Star Game Wednesday  at Golden Park in Columbus, Ga.
Pitching for the Gwinnett Astros, Clark (2-0) ranks fourth in the Sunbelt with a 1.17 ERA. The lefty from Loganville, Ga., has struck out 37 with just six walks in 23 innings.
Donohoe, an infielder and right-handed pitcher from Calvary CHsitian in Columbus, Ga., is playing for the Columbus Chatt-a-Hoots. He is hitting .370 while leading the Sunbelt with 13 RBI.
