Mic'D Up with Offensive Line Coach Eman Naghavi

The newest member of the Georgia State coaching staff is offensive line coach Eman Naghavi, who joined the program in March.

Naghavi comes to Atlanta after spending the last four seasons at Sun Belt Conference program ULM, where he served as offensive coordinator and offensive line coach.

Naghavi produced prolific offenses at ULM, highlighted in 2017 when the Warhawks ranked No. 2 in the Sun Belt among the Top 25 in FBS in scoring, passing and total offense.

His experience in the Sun Belt made him very familiar with Georgia State even before he arrived.

"It's an exciting time to be at Georgia State," he said. "After playing against Georgia State, I've always had a lot of respect for Coach Elliott and the staff, and I'm very happy to join what they are building here."

At GSU, Naghavi inherits a veteran offensive line that returns all five starters while developing many younger players as backups.

A native Texan, Naghavi previously served on the staff of the Texas Longhorns under Mack Brown and Charlie Strong. He played collegiately at McNeese State, where he was an FCS All-American offensive lineman, and then later coached at his alma mater.
