Panther Family Invited to Mike Hurst Celebration Game

May 1 vs. Coastal Carolina at the GSU Baseball Complex

The Georgia State Panther Family will celebrate the life and legacy of long-time head coach Mike Hurst at the Panthers' May 1 game against Coastal Carolina. 

All former players as well as all Georgia State alumni, fans and friends are invited to join head coach Brad Stromdahl and the Panthers for this special day.

Coach Mike Hurst was instrumental in building the Georgia State Baseball program into what you see today and touched the lives of so many people throughout his impassioned life. He was a legendary coach and mentor who made an incredible impact in so many areas of the baseball community.

We are committed to ensuring Coach Hurst remains embedded in the history of Georgia State Baseball.

Schedule of Events (Saturday, May 1 at the GSU Baseball Complex):

1:30 p.m. - Gathering
2:00 p.m. - Celebration of Life
3:10 p.m. - Georgia State Baseball In and Out
3:50 p.m. - First Pitch Ceremony
4:00 p.m. - Game vs. Coastal Carolina
