ATLANTA - The Panther Insider Podcast Driven by Ford returns for Episode 51 as we welcome Georgia State alum and Atlanta author Tim Darnell to the podcast. Darnell joins the Voice of the Panthers Dave Cohen to talk about the origins of Atlanta baseball including the site of the new Georgia State baseball stadium where Hank Aaron hit home run No. 715.

Darnell is an award-winning writer, editor, author and commentator with more than two decades of experience in newspapers, magazines, websites, radio and now TV. Darnell has served as editor of more than a dozen local and national consumer, business and political websites, and is the author of four books, including "The Crackers: Early Days of Atlanta Baseball" and "101 Atlanta Sports Legends."  A Georgia State University grad, Darnell is involved with several organizations, including the Atlanta Sports Hall of Fame and the Chick-fil-A Bowl.

The Panther Insider Podcast Driven by Ford launched in August 2019 and has featured coaches, administration, along with current and former student-athletes. The semi-weekly podcast will tell the stories of GSU student-athletes, coaches, and all those surrounding the Georgia State Athletics program.
