Georgia State cornerback Quavian White was tabbed to the weekly honor roll for the Paul Hornung Award, which recognizes versatility.
    
Against No. 19 Louisiana, the junior from Greer, S.C., made seven solo tackles in the game, along with an interception and two pass breakups. He also had one kickoff return (22 yds) and two punt returns for 17 yards.
    
His interception came late in the first half at the GSU 15-yard line and likely prevented a score. After returning the pick for 14 yards, the Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference selection now has four career interceptions and a Georgia State-record 89 interception return yards.

White and the Panthers (0-1, 0-1 Sun Belt) play at Charlotte (0-1) Saturday at noon on ESPNU. Georgia State's next home game is Saturday, Oct. 3 vs. East Carolina at Center Parc Stadium. That game will also kick at noon and be nationally televised on ESPNU.
