We are taking a look at the top individual performances in the first 10 seasons of Georgia State football, including a bracket-style competition for Panther fans to vote for their favorite.
 
Today's quarterfinal matchup features Georgia State's all-time leading rusher Tra Barnett against all-conference safety Tarris Batiste.

RB Tra Barnett vs. Troy, 2019
- Rushed for a school-record 242 yards and two touchdowns on 34 carries.
- Broke the GSU records for rushing yards in a game, season and career in the same game.
- Also became Georgia State's career leader in rushing touchdowns in this game.
- Led the Panthers' to a school-record 390 yards rushing (a record that was topped in the following game) and a 52-33 victory that earned bowl eligibility.
- Named Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

S Tarris Batiste vs. Georgia Southern, 2015
- Two interceptions, two tackles for loss, a forced fumble and eight tackles to lead a dominating 34-7 victory that sent Georgia State to its first bowl game.
- Keyed a GSU defense that allowed program lows of seven points and 203 total yards, including just 135 yards on the ground by the nation's top rushing team.
- In a 7-7 game late in first half, he grabbed an interception at the GSU 5-yard line to keep the game tied, and then the Panthers reeled off 28 straight points in the second half.
- Named Sun Belt Conference and National Defensive Player of the Week.
