ATLANTA – Building the most highly-regarded signing class in program history, Georgia State baseball head coach
Brad Stromdahl and his staff have added four junior college talents during the spring signing period to join the eight signees inked last fall.
Â
The Panthers have added left-handed hitting first baseman Ryan Allen from Redlands (Okla.) CC as well as pitchers Jet Kern, a right-hander from Georgia Highlands College, Andrew Moore, a righty from Chipola (Fla.) College, and lefty Dylan Collins from Bossier Parrish (La.) CC.
Â
Combined with the fall signing class, the Panthers will welcome three speedy outfielders, four right-handed pitchers, one left-handed pitcher, three infielders and a two-way player as a catcher and pitcher. Eight of the 12 are from Georgia.
Â
"We are extremely excited as a coaching staff with the addition on these student-athletes," said Stromdahl, who took over the program last summer and guided the Panthers to a 9-7 record in 2020 in his first season.
Â
"They each fill a specific need and will help to build upon the foundation for Georgia State Baseball. With these additions, we feel we can make an immediate impact in the Sun Belt Conference next season. I am so thankful for all the hard work and effort put into this process from both the incoming players and our coaching staff.Â
Â
"The future is very bright for Panther Baseball!"
