ATLANTA -- Head coach Gene Hill welcomed in a new member of the GSU women's basketball team this week with the signing of Elexus Bell, a post player from Southern Union State CC in Alabama.

Bell is a Georgia native from Carrollton and played for Carrollton H.S. Bell will add depth to the Panthers in the paint with her 6'2" frame.

"We are thrilled Elexus made the CHOICE to join our family," Hill said. "She will bring a tremendous amount of experience and toughness to our team. She is a true low-post scoring presence who will be a strong rebounder for us."

In her second season at Southern Union CC, Bell averaged 15.5 points per game and 10.2 rebounds per game in 28 contests.
