ATLANTA - The Panther Insider Podcast returns for Episode 15 as Georgia State men's basketball assistant coach Chris Kreider joins the Voice of the Panthers Dave Cohen to talk about his time with the program and how a chance meeting with fellow assistant coach Cliff Warren assisted his start in the profession.
Kreider joined the Panthers following the hire of new head coach Rob Lanier last April. It was Kreider's recruitment of Coach Lanier's son to Rice that started a relationship and ended up with Kreider returning to Atlanta.
The Panther Insider Podcast launched last August and has featured coaches Shawn Elliott, Brett Surrency, Brad Stromdahl, Nate Fuqua, Cliff Warren, Chris Kreider, and Gene Hill, along with Director of Athletics Charlie Cobb, and football quarterback Dan Ellington and teammate Remy Lazarus, along with men's basketball guard Kane Williams. The semi-weekly podcast will tell the stories of GSU student-athletes, coaches, and all those surrounding the Georgia State Athletics program.
