ATLANTA - The Panther Insider Podcast returns for Episode 14 as Georgia State men's basketball assistant coach Jarvis Hayes joins the Voice of the Panthers Dave Cohen to talk about his time with the program, his relationship with a former Panther coach, playing professionally and what his goals are for the future.
Hayes joined the Panthers following the hire of new head coach Rob Lanier last April. He played in the NBA for five years before heading overseas to play professional and joined the coaching ranks last season.
The Panther Insider Podcast launched last August and has featured coaches Shawn Elliott, Brett Surrency, Brad Stromdahl, Nate Fuqua, Cliff Warren, and Gene Hill, along with Director of Athletics Charlie Cobb, and football quarterback Dan Ellington and teammate Remy Lazarus, along with men's basketball guard Kane Williams. The semi-weekly podcast will tell the stories of GSU student-athletes, coaches, and all those surrounding the Georgia State Athletics program.
