ATLANTA -- For the first time, Georgia State will televise home baseball and softball games on ESPN+, with a total of nine events scheduled to air this spring.
 
GSU's ESPN+ slate features six baseball games, including contests against in-state rivals Georgia Tech, Mercer and Kennesaw State, as well as three softball games, all against rival Georgia Southern. In addition, all games from the 2020 Sun Belt Conference Softball Championship, hosted by GSU at the Bob Heck Softball Complex, will air on ESPN+.
 
The ESPN+ platform is subscription-based and can be viewed on laptops or mobile devices for $4.99 per month, which includes a wide range of live and on-demand programming from multiple sports. Selected Georgia State baseball and softball games road games will also be available on ESPN+ and can be viewed with the same subscription.
 
An additional 10 baseball games and nine softball contests will feature free audio streams via the Georgia State Athletics app. The audio slate kicks off this week with both home openers as softball hosts Georgia Wednesday at 5 p.m. and baseball opens Friday at 4 p.m. vs. Cincinnati.
 
Dave Cohen, the long-time Voice of the Panthers, will be at the mic for Georgia State baseball, while John Morgo will call the softball contests.
