Panthers Defeated in Conway

Lewis led GSU in scoring with 10 points.

CONWAY, S.C. – Georgia State lost 87-45 Saturday to Coastal Carolina at the HTC Center in Conway, S.C.
 
Coastal Carolina used its size advantage to score 44 points in the paint and 23 second-chance points. CCU outrebounded the Panthers 55-27.
 
Jada Lewis was GSU's top scorer with 10 points. She made her 117th career 3-pointer in the contest to move into sixth place on GSU's all-time 3-pointer list. Lewis also had five rebounds and three steals.
 
Taylor Hosendove grabbed 10 boards to go with six points and Taylor Henderson finished with nine points.
 
Next up for Georgia State is Arkansas State Thursday at the GSU Sports Arena.
