TUCSON -- One day before taking on Wyoming in the NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl, Georgia State head coach
Shawn Elliott, along with quarterback
Dan Ellington and noseguard
Dontae Wilson, participated in the bowl's press conference.
Tuesday's game kicks off at 4:30 p.m. ET at Arizona Stadium, airing on CBS Sports Network and the Georgia State Radio Network (92.9 The Game and WRAS-FM 88.5). The teams enter the game with identical 7-5 records.
"On behalf of Georgia State University and our football program, we're thrilled," Elliott said. "Just talking to our players, it's been a great few days here. We're excited about this contest and playing a quality opponent in Wyoming. Just thrilled, to tell you the truth.Â
"It's a rewarding experience when you work so hard in your off-season, and then to have it finalized in a great bowl game," he continued. "We're just really appreciative of being here and looking forward to a great contest."

Elliott has the Panthers in a bowl game for the second time in his three-year tenure and the third time in the last five years for the 10-year-old program. A win over the Cowboys would give Georgia State a school-record eight victories.
"I love doing things for the first time. I love setting standards," Elliott said. "From when I was a player to when I began coaching, it was always about, hey, what do you want to be remembered for?"
On the eve of his final game for Georgia State, Ellington, the senior All-Sun Belt Conference quarterback, was asked why he chose to continue playing after suffering a torn ACL in his right knee in the ninth game of the season vs. ULM.
"For Coach Elliott, the team, the school. I didn't want to let the team down," said Ellington, who has passed for 2,291 yards and 21 touchdowns while rushing for 598 yards and five scores.
"You know, it's really remarkable," Elliott said. "For someone to set it all aside and say I want to do it for our team, I want to do it for the university, for the coach, whatever it might be, I'm telling you, that's why you coach. To know that you have that type of impact on somebody that he wants to give everything and more, it's remarkable."
After the press conference, the Panthers got their first look at Arizona Stadium with a team photo and final practice at the facility.Â
