Physicals must be signed by a doctor or they will not be accepted!

On the Walk-On Form, the Initial Information section must be filled out and completed by yourself.  Prior to visiting the Athletic Training Staff, you need to have completed the Sports Medicine Paperwork, NO EXCEPTIONS!

Paperwork will only be accepted on Tuesday, January 21st from 10-12 pm and 2-4 pm at the GSU Soccer Offices (188 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. Atlanta, GA 30312).  At that time, you will have your medical paperwork reviewed by a GSU Athletic Trainer.  If approved, you will then be seen by Academics (Bree Hicken) and Compliance (Lisa Helth).  All completed paperwork will then be processed by compliance to determine eligibility for the tryout.

All persons who wish to try out must be enrolled as a full-time student at Georgia State University's downtown campus.  If you have transferred to GSU this year from another 4-year institution, then you will need to be on the transfer portal in order to participate. All prospective student-athletes must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to be eligible to tryout.

If you earn a spot on the team, a block in your class schedule from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. is required. The block in your schedule must be arranged prior to tryouts. GSU Athletics will not be able to change your schedule for you.
