ATLANTA – Tami Audia will not return as Director of Volleyball and head court volleyball coach as her contract was not renewed, Georgia State Director of Athletics Cheryl L. Levick announced Thursday.

Effective immediately, Audia will be reassigned as a special assistant to the director of athletics through the end of her contract, which expires April 18, 2014. A national search for a new head coach will begin immediately.

The Georgia State volleyball team ended its season last weekend with a 9-23 overall record and a 4-14 mark in its first season in the Sun Belt Conference. The Panthers, who did not make the eight-team Sun Belt tournament, were 41-75 in four years under Audia.
