ATLANTA — Georgia State volleyball is set to compete in the 2025 Sun Belt Conference Championship on Nov. 20-23 at the Foley Events Center in Foley, Ala. First serve is set against Southern Miss on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 2:30 p.m. ET.
The Panthers earned the No. 4 seed in the East Division and will open tournament play against No. 5 Southern Miss in the West Division in the first round.
Georgia State and Southern Miss will meet for the sixth time in program history, first time in two years. Southern Miss currently leads the series 1-4. The Panthers look to rematch the Golden Eagles after falling in weekend sweep at home in 2023.
A win in the opening round would send Georgia State to the quarterfinals on Friday, Nov. 21at 2:30 p.m. ET, against the West Division's top seed Arkansas State. The Panthers and the Red Wolves split a weekend earlier this season when they opened conference play.
The championship match is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 23 at 5:00 p.m. ET.
The single-elimination championship will feature 10 teams, the top five from both the East and West Divisions, competing for the league title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
