Georgia State Unveils New Panther Vision Features

ATLANTA - Georgia State will unveil a new video component to the athletics web site beginning on Tuesday, as student-athletes reported back to campus and seasons got underway over the weekend. Each Georgia State coach will have their own online coaches show that will debut at the same time each week, giving fans a behind the scenes look into all of their favorite GSU sports.

This Week in Georgia State Women's Soccer with head coach Domenic Martelli, sponsored by Chick-fil-A at CNN Center will debut on Tuesday at 1 p.m. On Wednesday, This Week in Georgia State Men's Soccer with head coach Brett Surrency, sponsored by Georgia Power will makes it debut at 1p.m.

This Week in Georgia State Cross Country with head coach Chris England, sponsored by IBEW, will debut on GeorgiaStateSports.com Thursday at 1 p.m. The opening week will close with This Week in Georgia State Volleyball with head coach Tami Audia, sponsored by AirTran, Friday at 1 p.m.

The four new coaches shows are part of the new online video presence at GeorgiaStateSports.com. Throughout each sports season, fans will be able to come back to the site to check out the latest on their favorite teams.

In the coming weeks, fans will be able to ask questions of Director of Athletics Cheryl L. Levick in the new Ask the A.D. segment.

Continuing to build on the popular segment from last year, Getting to Know Your Panthers will return, showcasing some of the best and brightest student-athletes on campus.

During the year, fans will also be able to see more behind the scenes videos and have interaction with both coaches and fans.

As a reminder to fans, admission to volleyball, cross country and men and women's soccer is free of charge. Check online at GeorgiaStateSports.com for updated game times, player bios, directions and all of your apparel needs.
