Biography

CAREER:
Returned to GSU and became eligible for second semester of 2010-11 season.

First signed with Georgia State as high school senior in Nov. 2004 to play 2005-06 and spent two seasons with GSU before transferring to UCF. She played only one season at UCF (2008-09) and was not in school anywhere in 2009-10.

Her career totals now read 76 college games played (73 at GSU) with 644 career points, 518 rebounds, with 117 blocked shots. She has 25 career double-figure scoring games, 18 career double-figure rebounding games and 10 double-double games.

In her first two seasons at State, Head had posted the second-ever triple-double in the program’s history with 14 points, 16 rebounds and 11 blocked shots at Hofstra on Dec. 3, 2006. Head also still holds the CAA and school records for blocked shots in a single game (11) as well as the GSU record for blocked shots in a season (67). Head returned from UCF after two seasons, including sitting out a transfer year.

2010-11:

Resumed practice with team after first semester ended (Dec. 15) and played first game the next day vs. Jacksonville State (6 points, 4 rebounds, 1 block)...Played five games before foot injury sidelined her for the next 10 games.

Came back from injury to play Feb. 10 (George Mason), playing those final nine games of the season.

Season totals included 14 games (131 minutes), 47 points (3.4), 37 rebounds (2.6), with 5 steals and 3 blocks.

Season high for points was 12 vs. MVSU (12/29) with 3-of-6 FG and 6-of-8 FT, along with season-best 9 rebounds...Scored 8 points at Nicholls State (12/18)...Blocked a shot in each of first three games back...Took multiple charges on defense to spark the team.


2009-10 NCAA - Did Not Play

2008-09 NCAA - UCF:
Played just three games during the season, but managed an 11 points per game average in that span…Posted her first double-double in a UCF uniform with 17 points and 12 rebounds against Florida A&M (11/21/08)…Scored eight points and grabbed nine rebounds in her UCF debut at Colorado (11/16/08).

2007-08 NCAA - UCF:
Sat out the season after transferring from Georgia State to Central Florida.
