Scored 51 points (1.9) with 59 rebounds (2.2) and 10 blocked shots in her freshman campaign...Played in 27 of the 30 games and drew seven starting assignments.
Had first double-figure game against top-10 ranked North Carolina with 13 points, four rebounds and two blocked shots in her 28 minutes against the Tar Heels. Was 5-of-9 from field and 3-of-4 from the line in that game.
Had personal-best 8 rebounds vs. Delaware (1/24) with six of those on the offensive end...Played season-high 37 minutes vs. Towson (2/3) and had eight points (4-of-7 field goals), four rebounds, three assists, a block and a steal...Also had eight points vs. Jacksonville State (11/24) on 4-of-7 shooting with three rebounds in 20 minutes...Had five rebounds in 18 minutes at VCU (1/13)...Grabbed five rebounds at Drexel (2/7) in 21 minutes...Grabbed 3 rebounds in her four minutes in the CAA Tournament game vs. W & M (3/13).
HIGH SCHOOL:
Three-year varsity letterwinner for head coach Roger Grantham and the Panthers... Averaged 21 points, 15 rebounds, five assists and five blocked shots as a senior... Totaled 32 points, 19 rebounds, eight assists and six blocked shots in her first game of the 2006-07 season... Selected Bi-City All-Region as a sophomore and a junior... Full name is Danielle Beaulah Anderson... Born Sept. 8, 1988, in Columbus, Ga.... Parents are Connie and Thomas Anderson... Has a younger sister, Ashley... Mother, Connie, was a star player in basketball at Chattahoochee Valley Community College.
Enjoys reading novels, writing, watching movies and spending time with friends... Fan of Dwayne Wade, Candace Parker and the Miami Heat... Plans on attending graduate school... Her mother, Connie, inspires her the most in sports... Current goal is to consistently become starter and post double-doubles... Chose Georgia State because she felt like a part of the team, loved the atmosphere and felt honored to play for Coach Henry... Also received interest (academically and athletically) from Troy, Florida A&M, South Alabama, South Carolina, Old Dominion, Vanderbilt, Middle Tennessee and Southern Mississippi.
