Johnson joined the women's basketball staff in the fall of 2014 as a graduate manager for Coach Baldwin-Tener. Johnson is working toward her master's degree at GSU.

An Atlanta native (Suwanee), Johnson played basketball and graduated from Colllins Hill High School.

She played two years at Lenoir-Rhyne (N.C.) College and transferred to Reinhardt College in Waleska, Ga. for her final two seasons. Johnson was a team captain at Reinhardt, averaging 12 points and six rebounds a game

She earned her bachelor's degree in biology.
