Emily Hartman joined the Georgia State sports medicine staff in July 2026 as an athletic trainer working with the men’s soccer and men’s and women’s tennis programs.

A native of Woodstock, Georgia, Hartman earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Georgia in 2022. She received her master’s degree in athletic training from Troy University in 2025, gaining experience with the Trojans’ softball and women’s soccer programs.

Hartman also completed an immersive clinical rotation at Georgia, where she worked with the women’s basketball and gymnastics programs. Before joining Georgia State, she served as an athletic training intern at the University of Tennessee from 2025-26, providing care for the Volunteers’ men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs.
