Prep: Stroup played four years at Stratford High School in Macon, Ga. as a defender and midfielder under head coach James Jordan ... Played for the Alpharetta Ambush ‘93 club team that was the 2010 national champion in U.S. youth soccer ... In addition, Stroup was a 2010 Region III champion and U.S. youth ODP national champion ...
