Hampered by a shoulder injury late in the season . . . Suffered the injury against Northeastern (2/16) and sat out the next two games before returning against Towson (2/27) . . . Scored 12 points off the bench against James Madison (3/1) despite the injured shoulder.
Season-high 18 points and 10 rebounds against Winston-Salem State (12/8) . . . Top game in CAA play was a double-double against Delaware (2/13) with 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Scored 17 points and pulled down a career-best 16 rebounds in win over Troy (11/24) . . . Made three key free throws in the final 30 seconds to seal 65-60 win at Jacksonville (11/28). 2006-07:
Georgia State's top rebounder at 5.9 per game while ranking third on the team in scoring with 8.5 points per game . . . Ranked 11th in the CAA in rebounding but was sixth in the league in offensive rebounds, with 71 of his 184 boards coming on the offensive glass . . . Had 13 double-figure scoring games with five double-doubles, including three in CAA play . . . Played in all 31 games, starting 17.
Scored a career-best 24 points while pulling down 11 rebounds in win over Winston-Salem State . . . Established a career-best with a 15-rebound performance in win at Delaware to go with 12 points.
Had 23 points, his career-high in a CAA game, plus 12 rebounds, in double overtime win over Towson . . . Made a three-point basket from the corner with 11 seconds left to force the overtime. With State up by one in the second overtime, he made two free throws with 1:35 left, and then he hit a three-point basket with 32 seconds left to secure the win.
Also recorded double-doubles against Charlotte (13 points, 12 rebounds) and Northeastern (12 points, 11 rebounds) . . . Averaged 14.7 points and 8.0 rebounds in three games against ACC teams, collecting 18 points and eight rebounds against Georgia Tech, 16 points and nine rebounds against Clemson, and 10 points and seven boards against Florida State . . . Played a big role in CAA Tournament win over William & Mary, scoring 13 points on 5-7 field goals with two three-point baskets.
2005-06:
Voted to the CAA All-Rookie team in the Panthers' inaugural season in the league . . . Averaged 6.1 points and 4.3 rebounds . . . Also blocked 12 shots, hit 11 three-point baskets and grabbed 21 steals . . . Became the first Panther to be named CAA Rookie of the Week on Dec. 12, 2005.
Quickly gained attention when he had a double-double in his third game as a Panther with 14 points (6-of-11 FG) and 10 rebounds in win over Louisiana-Lafayette . . .Two games later against 15th-ranked Kentucky at Philips Arena, he helped the Panthers start the game with an 11-0 run and finished with a season-high 19 points on 8-for-13 shooting from the field, along with five rebounds; he was named CAA Rookie of the Week for that effort.

Georgia State's most highly-regarded prep signee in recent years as the Georgia Class AAAA Player of the Year in 2004-05 . . . Led Atlanta's Benjamin Mays High School to back-to-back state championships (2004 & 2005) . . . One of two Georgia State players in the last decade who were named Georgia Player of the Year as prepsters, along with Shernard Long (Tucker High School).
Most Valuable Player of the Class AAAA state tournament as he led Mays to its second straight title in 2005 . . . Finished with 24 points and 11 rebounds in the state semifinals, helping Mays outscore Griffin, 20-12, in the fourth quarter to win, 58-54, and advance to the championship game . . . Then poured in 27 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in 63-56 win over Tucker in the state championship game at Gwinnett Arena.

Named Most Valuable Player of the Arby's Classic in December of 2004 as he led Mays to the tournament title in a national event in Bristol, Tenn., that featured schools from Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Utah and Canada . . . Poured in 33 points and grabbed 20 rebounds (nine offensive) to lead a win over Dobyns-Bennett (Tenn.) in the first game of the tournament . . . Followed with a double-double in a win over Reston (Va.) South Lakes, then earned MVP honors after leading Mays to a 55-53 win over Provo (Utah) Timpview in the finals.
Other top games in his senior season included 29 points with nine boards in a win over Cedar Grove; 23 points vs. South DeKalb in the Region 5-AAAA tournament, and a 22-point, nine-rebound effort vs. South Atlanta.
Chosen for the Georgia North-South All-Star Game, scoring 12 points for the North team . . . Also played in the Atlanta All-Star Classic, in which he scored 20 points for the West squad.
Played AAU basketball for the Atlanta Celtics and Georgia Stars, teams loaded with NBA and college-bound players like Dwight Howard, Josh Smith and Louis Williams.
