2007-08:
The Panthers tallest player who was hampered by a knee injury throughout the year but played his best basketball the last five games of the season, averaging 9.4 points and 6.4 rebounds for that stretch . . . Averaged 5.3 points and 4.0 rebounds (second on the team) for the season . . . Scored in double figures five times.
Scored a season-high 11 points and grabbed five rebounds in Senior Night win over Towson (2/27) . . . Made his first start of the season against Jacksonville State (2/23) and had 10 points, five rebounds and two blocks in just 19 minutes . . . One game earlier had 10 points and a season-high nine rebounds against UNC Wilmington (2/20).
Played a key role down the stretch of State’s one-point win at Delaware (1/26) with a dunk with 2:39 to play and then two free throws with 49 seconds left . . . Contributed eight points on 4-of-6 shooting from the field, along with five rebounds and a blocked shot against ODU (2/2).

2006-07:
Started 15 games at center . . . Ranked fifth in the CAA with 1.68 blocked shots per game . . . Season total of 47 blocks is third-best in school history . . . Averaged 4.9 points and 4.6 rebounds per game . . . Shot 47.9 percent (58-121) from the field. In CAA games, he averaged 5.7 points and 4.7 rebounds with 31 blocked shots in 17 league games.
Contributed five double-figure scoring games, highlighted by 20 points at William and Mary to equal his career best . . . Hit 8-of-10 field goals against the Tribe and also contributed seven rebounds.
Turned in two of his best performances late in the season against NCAA Tournament-participant VCU . . . Had 14 points, seven rebounds and three blocks while playing a season-high 36 minutes in the regular-season finale against the Rams . . . Then finished the season a double-double against VCU in the CAA Tournament as he scored 13 points and pulled down 10 rebounds . . . Added 11 points in the first meeting with VCU to average 12.6 ppg against the Rams.
Also reached double figures with 10 points at Hofstra, then grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds against Hofstra at home . . . Season-best four blocked shots at George Mason and against Savannah State.
2005-06:
Averaged 6.3 points while leading the team in rebounds at 5.1 per game and blocked shots with 1.59 per game . . . Ranked fourth in the CAA in blocks and 18th in rebounds . . . Season total of 46 blocks was at the time the third best total in school history and now ranks fourth . . . Shot 48 percent from the field on the season (76-of-158) . . . Played in 29 games, starting 20 . . . Slowed by a knee injury early in the season.
Notched a double-double against Northeastern with a career-high 20 points and 12 rebounds . . . Added three blocks and connected on 10 of 15 attempts from the field while playing against one of the nation's leading shot blockers in Shawn James . . . Also had a double-double against VCU with 11 points and 11 boards . . . Grabbed season-high 13 rebounds at Hofstra while grabbing nine against Towson . . . Added 10 points and eight rebounds against George Mason . . . Career-high five blocked shots in win at James Madison . . . Swatted four against Louisiana Lafayette, Towson, and George Mason.
Scored 14 points against Delaware in his first CAA game, when he hit 7-of-10 shots, along with seven rebounds and two blocks . . . Finished strong at the CAA Tournament, played in his hometown of Richmond, Va. . . . Chipped in 10 points, seven rebounds and four blocks in tournament-opening win over Towson . . . In the quarterfinals vs. eventual NCAA Final Four George Mason, contributed eight points (4-of-6 FG), seven rebounds three offensive), and four blocked shots before fouling out.
2004-05:
Earned All-Academic recognition from the A-Sun Conference . . . Played in 22 games off the bench, averaging nearly 10 minutes per game . . . Averaged 2.0 points and 2.1 rebounds while blocking eight shots . . . Shot better than 50 percent from the field, hitting 20 of 39 attempts (.513).
HIGH SCHOOL:
Honorable mention all-state selection at Henrico High School . . . Capital District Player of the Year as well as first-team all-district and all-region . . . Also an all-academic honoree for his district and region.
Averaged 15 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks per game as a senior, helping his team to a 22-8 record.
Recorded a triple-double in his final high school game with 20 points, 19 rebounds and 10 blocks as his team fell, 73-72, on a last-second shot to No. 4 Huguenot in the Central Region tournament.
Reached double figures in rebounds every game in his senior season on the 22-8 team . . . Top scoring game was a 24-point night against Atlee . . . Played one year at Highland Springs High and then final three years at Henrico.

Deven Jerel Dickerson was born August 8, 1986 in Richmond, Va., as the oldest son of Lonnie and Eunice Dickerson . . . Has a younger brother, Desmone . . . Both parents played college basketball . . . Lonnie Dickerson, 6-7, played at J.F. Kennedy High and Virginia Union . . . Mother, Eunice, who is 6-2, played at Buckingham High before earning All-CIAA honors at Virginia Union. . . . Majored in economics at Georgia State and earned his degree in May of 2008 . . . . Serves on the Student-Athlete Advisory Council.
