Camille Collier joined the GSU basketball staff in August, 2012 after spending five seasons as a student-athlete at Wake Forest.
Collier overcame two knee ACL surgeries and played in 100 games for the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest. Had a red-shirt medical season for 2010-11.
As a senior, she played in 16 games before suffering her second knee injury. She was able to return for the final Senior Day game and get on the court for the final minute of her career. Had a top game of 17 points vs. Monmouth as a senior. She had taken her medical season entering her final year of 2010-11 when she suffered the injury in preseason practice.
As a junior, Collier led Wake Forest with 39 three-point baskets and averaged 4.9 points per game. Had 15 points against Coppin State.
As a sophomore, she produced a career-high scoring game with 25 points against the University of Virginia and also had 16 points vs. Coppin State.
As a freshman, she had top games of 21 points against Savannah State and Boston College. She led ACC freshmen with her 8.2 scoring average.
Named to the ACC All-Academic team as freshman and to the ACC Honor Roll two times. Earned her degree in sociology.
Played prep ball at Sidwell Friends School in metro Washington, D.C. and was second-team All-Met.
Born June 5, 1989, she is the daughter of Harvey and Dawne Collier. She has a younger sister, Taylor.
