Whitney Vincenti joined the Georgia State University staff in February 2019 as an academic advisor in the University Advisement Center. In November 2019, Vincenti transitioned to the athletics department as an athletic academic advisor.
In her current role in the athletic department, she serves as the Assistant Director of Academic Services within Panther Academic Support and Student-Athlete Development (P.A.S.S.). She oversees various academic duties including academic advising campus liaison as well as transfer evaluations and articulations within the unit.
She currently works with the baseball and football programs. With her as the baseball academic advisor, the program reached its highest mark in Georgia State University history with a 3.2 cumulative GPA in the 2020-21 academic year. Previously, she has also worked with the softball, men’s tennis, and women’s basketball programs. During her time with women’s basketball, they earned their highest cumulative GPA in the 2021-22 academic year with a 3.40 GPA.
Vincenti previously worked with football at both Kennesaw State and Georgia Tech as a Lead Tutor where she provided support for student-athletes during study hall.

Prior to Georgia State, Vincenti earned a Master of Arts in Education at Durham University in Durham, England. While attending Durham, Vincenti served as a graduate assistant specializing in video and statistical analysis for the women’s volleyball team.Â

Vincenti is originally from Michigan and is a proud alumna of Michigan State, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
