Danielle Lipscomb

Danielle Lipscomb joined the Georgia State athletic department in January 2023 as an academic advisor. She currently works with football and women’s tennis student-athletes.

Prior to arriving at Georgia State, Lipscomb served as an academic coordinator at Georgia Tech, where she worked with women's volleyball, men's tennis and men’s golf student-athletes.

Lipscomb was an assistant academic advisor with the Purdue athletics department for two years (2019-21), working with football and assisting with student-athlete development. In April 2021, she transitioned to become the assistant director/director of football academics at Eastern Kentucky before coming to Atlanta.

Lipscomb graduated with a bachelor of science in psychology from Middle Tennessee State University in 2017. She earned a master’s of science in sports psychology in 2019 from University of Missouri-Columbia.

A native of Atlanta, Ga., Lipscomb is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and the National Association for Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A).
