Steve Wojcikowski, a member of the Georgia State Athletics Department since 2013, was named assistant athletic director for football operations in July 2016.
Wojcikowski originally joined the GSU staff as in January 2013 as assistant athletic director for facilities and operations. In that role for three-plus years, he was responsible for Georgia State's athletics facilities, both on and off campus, as well as event management for all sports.
Prior to joining Georgia State, Wojcikowski served as the director of athletic events Marshall in Huntington, W.Va., in his second stint there. He was the game operations manager for all sports and the event coordinator and facility manager for the football and basketball venues.
Wojcikowski began at Miami (Fla.) as assistant director of athletic events.Â
He earned his master's degree in sport administration from Marshall in 2008 while working as a graduate assistant in the athletic facilities management and game day operations department.Â
Wojcikowski graduated from Medaille College in Buffalo, N.Y., with a bachelor's degree in sport management in 2005. He is married to the former Amanda Smith, and the couple has two daughters, Olivia Ruth, 3, and Annie Brooks, 1.
