Nate Simon joined the Georgia State staff in 2018 as the head equipment manager.

Simon is a former Georgia State football letterwinner who played safety for the Panthers in 2014-15, including the first bowl game in GSU history.

He served two seasons as a graduate assistant in equipment operations before taking over as equipment manager in 2018.

A native of Compton, Calif., Simon began his college career at Golden West College before transferring to GSU in 2014.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Georgia State in 2016 and completed his master’s degree in sport administration in 2018.
