Georgia State University Athletics

Michael Charlton enters his second year with the Georgia State football program after serving as an intern in 2008-09. He also worked as a graduate assistant in Georgia State’s student-athlete development program the last two years.

Charlton played college football at Emory & Henry College, an NCAA Division III school in Emory, Va. While at Emory & Henry, he also served as a student assistant with the football program and completed an internship in the athletics director’s office.

A native of Radford, Va., Charlton earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Emory & Henry in 2006. He received his master’s degree in sports administration from Georgia State in May 2009.
