Brock Lough enters his second season on the Georgia State staff and his first as the running backs coach.

Lough originally joined Trent Miles’ staff in 2013 as a graduate assistant. After working with the running backs in that capacity in 2013, he was elevated to a full-time coaching position for 2014.

Lough is well-acquainted with Miles, after playing for him and working under him at Indiana State.

Before coming to GSU, Lough served as a volunteer assistant coach at Terre Haute South High School and worked S.O.S. High School Skills Camp in Indianapolis, Ind.

Lough began his coaching career as a student assistant with the Sycamores during the 2012 season.

A native of Terre Haute, Ind., Lough was an all-conference fullback for the Sycamores. Following his senior season of 2011, he signed a free agent contract with  the Cincinnati Bengals and attended the team’s rookie minicamp.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from ISU in 2012.
