Aasiyah Barr

Aasiyah Barr joined the Georgia State Sports Medicine staff as an Athletic Trainer in 2026. She currently serves as the Athletic Trainer for the football and track & field programs.

Prior to joining Georgia State, Barr completed a seasonal Athletic Training fellowship at Northern Illinois University, where she worked with the football program while also working with the gymnastics program.

In addition to her collegiate experience, Barr completed an Athletic Training internship with the Los Angeles Rams.

Barr earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Northern Illinois University and her Bachelor of Science in Sports Science and Fitness Management with a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy from North Carolina A&T State University.

A native of Decatur, Ga., Barr returned home to begin her professional career with Georgia State
