Two-year letterwinner as a right-handed hitting corner outfielder.
2016: Played in 35 games in the outfield, including 19 starts ... Hit .229 but had a .400 on-base percentage ... More walks/hit by pitch (20) than strikeouts ... Also contributed two RBI and three stolen bases.
Second on the team with four outfield assists, including two in win over Minnesota (3-5-16), when he threw out runners at second and third base.
Brought home the go-ahead run with an infield single in the eighth inning of 8-7 win over Alabama A&M (5-4-16) ... Made a key defensive play in 10-9, 11-inning win at Texas State (5-8-16) when he threw out a runner at the plate from left field in the seventh inning.
2015: Played in 44 games, including 29 starts ... Hit .265 with 16 RBI and 16 runs scored ... Had five extra-base hits, including two homers, one doubles and two triples ... Recorded two outfield assists.
Had four RBI in the UMass Lowell series ... Delivered a two-out, two-run triple in the sixth inning to break a 2-2 tie in Game 3 of the series ... Went 2-for-2 with two RBI, three runs scored and three walks in 10-8 win over Ohio (2-27-15), when his two-out, RBI-double broke a 7-7 tie in the sixth inning ... Drove in a run in the ninth inning at Georgia (3-4-15) with a triple to the left field corner.
Hit his first career homer in a win over UALR (4-4-15). At the time the Panthers trailed 4-2 but his homer leading off the fifth started a five-run inning ... Started two games in the Texas State series and had three hits and two RBI ... Went 5-for-11 in GSU’s three Sun Belt tournament games, including a homer and two RBI vs. South Alabama.
HIGH SCHOOL: Preseason all-state selection in Class AAAAA … All-region as a junior, when he hit .417 and stole 20 bases … Coached by Jeremy Beckham at North Atlanta High School … Helped North Atlanta reach the state playoffs for the first time in 2013 … Southeast Region honorable mention by Perfect Game, which ranks him among the Top 150 prospects in Georgia.
