Earned All-CAA Second Team honors...Landed on the CAA All-Tournament Team after throwing a complete game against No. 27 George Mason, sending the Panthers into the CAA Championship Game for the first time in school history...Pitched seven innings of six-hit ball during Georgia State's first ever postseason appearance in the NCAA Atlanta Regional...Earned a tough-luck loss after allowing just four runs to the potent No. 22 Elon offense, one of the top scoring teams in the country...Led the Panthers with a 7-2 record and 4.41 ERA, ninth best in the CAA, making 13 starts, tied for the team lead...Earned CAA Pitcher of the Week honors on February 24th...Earned a complete game victory against Towson in the final CAA game of the season, clinching the Panthers a spot in the CAA Championship, his longest outing of the season at that time...Threw a career-high nine strikeouts in his first start of the season against Cleveland State, leading the Panthers to their first shutout of the season...Earned wins in his first two appearances of the season, not allowing an earned run in his first 10.2 innings pitched...Threw 7.1 innings of five-hit ball in the Panthers 7-3 win over Northeastern on April 19th...Finished second on the team with 64 strikeouts, as well as innings pitched with 85.2...Held opponents to just a .259 batting average.
2008
Finished his second season at Young Harris with a 6-0 record and 3.00 ERA, with three saves and 19 appearances...Threw 34 strikeouts in 48 innings pitched, leading the Mountain Lions to a 50-13 record...Helped his team become the Georgia JUCO State Champions and led the squad to the region championship, as the squad reached as high as #2 in the nation during the season...The previous summer, played for the Atlanta Astros and helped the team to become College League Champions.
2007
In his first year with the Mountain Lions, helped lead the school to their first ever Junior College World Series appearance...Helped Young Harris to both region and district championships...Finished the season 2-0 and was the winning pitcher in the JUCO State Championship game...The Mountain Lions finished the season ranked eighth in the nation with a 46-22 record.
