Over half of 48 hits went for extra bases with 11 doubles, three triples and 13 homers... Piled up 104 total bases... Scored 46 runs, third-most on team... Led GSU with .545 slugging percentage and six sacrifice flies... Walked 40 times, second-most in conference... Had .384 on-base percentage... Stole 10 bases in 12 attempts... Drove in six runs at James Madison April 9, homering twice... Also belted two home runs vs. Murray State March 19... Had three hits March 25 vs. VCU and April 9 at James Madison... Earned All-CAA Second Team honors after leading the team with 13 home runs, tied for the ninth most in a single season in school history...Led the team with a .688 slugging percentage, which was the sixth best in school history...Drove in 58 runs and scored 59 times, both among the top ten most productive seasons in program history...Belted grand slams in back-to-back games against North Carolina Central over the first weekend of March...Tied the school record with eight RBIs against North Carolina Central on March 6th...Belted two home runs in a game three times during season...Had a mid-season stretch of games in which he collected at least one RBI in seven straight games and 13-of-14 contests...Finished the year with 18 multi-hit games and 14 multi-RBI contests.
2009
Helped lead Iowa Western Community College to the College World Series during his sophomore season...Team won the conference and Region XI titles, to reach the JUCO World Series...Batted .286 with three home runs and 20 RBIs during the season, while collecting a .451 on base percentage.
2008
Played his freshman season at the University of Evansville, primarily as a utility player...Saw action in 40 games, batting .230 with a .352 on base percentage and 14 RBIs, while also stealing safely three times.
Prep
Earned team MVP honors his senior year at Henry Street High School, hitting six home runs and batting .650 on the season...Was an honor roll student as well as Student Council President...Played summer ball for the Ontario Blue Jays and batted .390 during the season with five home runs after his senior year...Three-sport star in high school, earning letters in baseball, volleyball and golf...Received the Ted McComb Batting Average Award in the summer of 2008 with the Oshawa Dodgers, batting .377.
