Career at Georgia State
A stellar all-conference two-year player at GSU... Totaled highest on-base percentage in school history at .482... Career .364 batting average is tied for second in school history... Drew 84 career walks to finish seventh in Panther history... Slugged .573 to rank ninth all-time at GSU... Played in 114 games, making 108 starts... Belted 41 extra-base hits with 19 doubles, three triples and 19 home runs... Drove in 93 runs and scored 111 more...  Stole 20 bases in 31 attempts... Also sported outstanding .973 fielding percentage in the infield, making just 12 errors in 451 defensive chances... Named Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Week twice... Played two seasons at GSU after transferring from Iowa Western Community College.

2011
Preseason All-CAA honorable mention that went on to record All-CAA first team honors at second base after leading Panthers in on-base percentage, walks and runs scored... Played all 58 games, starting 56... Led CAA with 53 walks, ranking in the nation's top five for much of the year and finishing the season tied for fourth in NCAA... Batted .396 in CAA play, smacking six of his career-high 10 home runs in conference action... Drilled 65 total hits with 11 doubles, one triple and 10 homers... Racked up 108 total bases... Scored 52 times and drove in 37 runs... Reached base at a .471 clip while slugging .543... Stole 14 bases in 20 attempts... Also flashed terrific glove with .984 fielding percentage, committing just four errors all season in 249 chances... Drilled grand slam in ninth inning at James Madison April 10 with Panthers trailing 6-5 to give GSU its first series victory over Dukes in school history... Named CAA Player of the Week May 2 and to National All-Star Lineup after 10-for-13 performance against Hofstra, including April 30 performance in which he had four hits, drove in six runs, scored three times and had eight total bases... Set school record by reaching base safely in 16 consecutive plate appearances in March, falling two shy of NCAA record... Scored three runs four separate times... Had four hits twice... Smacked two home runs at Mercer February 22 and at JMU April 10... Drew school-record four walks in a game twice... Tripled vs. Towson March 12.

2010
Earned All-CAA Third Team honors after becoming just the sixth Panther to bat over .400 in a season...Named CAA Player of the Week on May 3rd after leading the Panthers to a perfect 4-0 week, including a sweep of George Mason...Belted an 11th inning, pinch-hit, walk-off home run to sweep the Patriots on May 2nd...Batted .402 on the season, after leading the squad and being among the top 25 in the NCAA for most of the season...Finished the year with 78 hits, tied for the sixth most in a single season in school history, while plating 59 runs, also tied for the sixth most in a single season...Ended the season with 23 multi-hit games, tied for fourth most on the team, along with 14 multi-RBI contests, also tied for fourth...In a stretch of three games against Austin Peay, Centenary and Kennesaw State, went 9-for-13 with eight runs scored and nine RBIs...Opened CAA play with back-to-back four hit games at Towson (April 2 & 3), scoring six times and driving in five over the weekend.

2008-2009
Played two seasons at Iowa Western Community College, helping the Reivers to a pair of NJCAA College World Series appearances...During his sophomore year, batted .353 with 61 hits and 53 RBIs, while getting on base at a .455 clip...In his freshman season, batted .441 with 60 hits and 42 RBIs.

Prep
As a member of the West Central High School Trojans, was a multi-sport star, earning four letters in baseball, three in football and track, as well as one in basketball...Was an all-state baseball player, while earning all conference honors in both football and track, leading the football team to three state championships.

Robert Lind is one of four children to Vern and Donna Lind...Born on January 26, 1988, in Sioux Falls, S.D....Has one older brother, Darren, and two younger brothers, Sam and Adam...His brother Sam is currently playing baseball for Central Arizona College...Currently majoring in biology.
