Amm Phrommavanh joined the Georgia State Athletics Department in August 2020 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach, working primarily with baseball, softball and men's soccer.
Phrommavanh came to Georgia State following a stint with the Elon Sports Performance staff as an assistant sports performance coach. He worked primarily with Elon's volleyball, men's tennis and softball programs.
He completed his Master's in Strength & Conditioning degree from Springfield College in the spring of 2019, where he worked as a graduate assistant with the Pride's football, men's and women's volleyball, women's lacrosse and women's gymnastics teams. In addition to developing and implementing training programs, he also helped oversee Springfield's undergraduate and graduate student interns.
Prior to his time at Springfield, he interned with the University of Minnesota football team during the summer of 2018. Additionally, Phrommavanh worked with a number of Olympic sports in internships at The College of the Holy Cross, Quinnipiac, and Connecticut.
A 2016 graduate of Central Connecticut State University, Phrommavanh earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science and holds NSCA-CSCS, RPR L1, USAW L1 and Red Cross First Aid CPR/AED certifications.
