Struck out eight batters in first appearance of season at Mercer February 22... Struck out six in just 3.0 innings in final regular season appearance against George Mason May 20... Tossed 1.1 innings against James Madison in CAA Tournament, striking out two.

Earned All-CAA Third Team honors for the second year in a row after becoming the Panthers Friday night starter with five weeks remaining conference play...Started opening game of the CAA Championship for the second straight season, pitching into the sixth inning, but earning a no decision...Before a no-decision on May 21 against William & Mary, in which he pitched 7.2 innings of no-hit ball while striking out a career-high 12, won four straight CAA series-opening starts...Was named to the All-CAA First Team by SEBaseball.com before the start of the season...Finished the year with a 6-3 record and 4.96 ERA, making 11 starts and 19 appearances, the second most on the team...Allowed just two hits at UNC Wilmington on May 8th heading into the ninth inning, including opening the game with 4.2 innings of no-hit ball.
2009
Earned All-CAA Third Team honors as a relief pitcher...Started the opening game of the CAA Championship, going six innings and allowing just three runs, striking out eight against Northeastern, but did not factor into the decision...Threw 2.2 innings of two-hit relief against top-seeded Georgia Tech in the Panthers first NCAA Regional appearance...After making 16 appearances out of the bullpen, earned Friday night starts in final two CAA series of the season...Finished the year with a 5-1 record and 4.15 ERA...Earned CAA Co-Pitcher and Rookie of the Week on May 4th after making first start of the season, going 8.2 innings and striking out 10 in a win against Virginia Commonwealth...Started his career with 6.2 hitless innings of relief...21 appearances were tops on the team...Struck out 58 batters in just 56.1 innings pitched, while walking just 18...Held opponents to a .231 batting average, second best on the team...Earned three saves, just one off the top ten single season mark in school history...Earned his first career win on opening night after 3.1 innings of no-hit relief against Cleveland State...In second career start, pitched 7.1 innings and struck out four against Towson, but did not factor into the decision.

Played amateur ball for the Sydney Major League, one of the top two amateur baseball leagues in Australia...Stands in the top 20 in several all-time categories in league history while pitching for his Central Coast club, including sixth with a 1.70 ERA, fifth in strikeouts with 101, fourth with a .152 opposition batting average and eighth with 10 wins...Won NSWML Rookie-of-the-Year and Player-of-the-Year honors during the 2007 season...Finished his 2007 campaign with a 10-2 record in 74 1/3 innings pitched, allowing just 14 earned runs for a 1.70 ERA...That same season, struck-out 101 of the 324 batters he faced, allowing just a .152 batting average...His best performance of the season was a seven inning, 11 strikeout performance, allowing just two hits and two walks...He spent two years with the NSW Institute of Sport (2005/2006), while at the same time play ing as a part of the MLB Australian Academy Program...Spent the 2007 season with the NSW Claxton Shield and Australian Provincial Teams as well.
