1. How do I join the Blue Wave?
All Georgia State students with a valid pantherscard can become a member of the Blue Wave. New members can sign up at the recruitment events around campus (click here to find a list of all upcoming events). New members can also sign up online here.

2. What are the benefits for signing up for the Blue Wave?
All Blue Wave members get:
- Priority Seating at Men’s Basketball (General seating at Women's Basketball Games)
- Access to Blue Wave Member Events
- Access to Blue Wave Game Incentives and Giveaways
- Priority access to postseason basketball tickets

3. Will I need a special membership card?
Yes. All Blue Wave members are required to have a Blue Wave membership keytag to get Game Points and redeem prizes. Membership keytags are given out at sign up.
Members that sign up online can pick up their keytag at the next home Men's basketball game when they present the officer with their registration print out.

3. What prizes can I win?

4. How do I redeem the prizes I win?
Prizes will be distributed based on the amount of Game Points accumulated by members. All prizes will be distributed after every Men's home games at the Blue Wave table.

5. What are Game Points and how do I get them?
Game Points are used to track member attendance at Men’s and Women’s Basketball Games. One (1) Game Point is earned when a member has their keytag scanned in at the Blue Wave table before the 10 minute mark in the first half. Members are responsible for scanning in at the table and tracking their attendance and Game Points. Game points can be viewed here.

6. Is there a way to track the number of game points I have?
Yes. You can track your game points and prizes online here.

13. I attended last weeks game but forgot to sign in, can I still get credit?
No. It is your responsibility to scan in before the 10 minute mark in the first half. If any members fails to get scanned in, they will not receive any game points for attending that game.

10. If I do not have my membership keygtag with me but am a Blue Wave member, can I still get credit for attending the game?
No. The only way to get credit for attending a Men's or Women's Basketball game is to have your membership keytag scanned in before the 10 minute mark in the first half.

11. Can I get a new keytag if mine is lost or stolen?
Yes. A replacement keytag can be given you for a $5 fee at the next home men's basketball game. Your old information will be transferred on to your new card and your old card will become inactive.

7. Is there a special seating section for Blue Wave members?
Yes. The Blue Wave student cheering section is section 105 in the Sports Arena. All Blue Wave members are encouraged to sit in this section and to sign up their friends at the Blue Wave table so they too can sit in the section and earn cool prizes.

8. Is it mandatory to come to all the games and events?
No, but all members are encouraged to attend as many games as they can and support our student athletes and maintain their active member status. A list of all events can be found here.

12. Can I attend home Women's Basketball games and earn Game points?
Yes, but not all women's basketball games are eligible. check the event calendar (here) for which home Women's Basketball games are eligible.
