Biography

AT GEORGIA STATE:

Versatile veteran who played both on the wing and in the post during his career . . . An effective perimeter defender . . . Switched to jersey No. 30 in 2007-08 after wearing No. 44 as a freshman . . . Played in over 100 games with 28 career starts.

2009-10:

Veteran whose contributions came primarily on the defensive end . . . Averaged 2.2 points and 1.5 rebounds per game . . . Started the first seven games of the season and then three of the final five.


Scored a season-high 10 points in win over UNC Wilmington (1/20) . . . Scored eight points, including two three-pointers, at Towson. His first trey came at the first-half buzzer, and his second came in a tie game with under three minutes to play . . . Earned a start against Hofstra in the CAA tourney and had six points on two three-pointers along with four rebounds and two assists . . . Contributed three rebounds and two assists in win over James Madison (2/16) . . . Added three points, two rebounds and two assists at Delaware . . . Had nine points, five rebounds and three steals versus Carver (11/17).

2008-09:

Averaged 2.2 points and 1.2 rebounds per game . . . Made six starts on the season . . .

Poured in a career-high 14 points in just 16 minutes off the bench to lead Georgia State to a 68-46 win over Towson (1/17) . . . Hit back-to-back three-pointers to key a 13-1 run at the end of the first half. For the game, he went 3-for-4 from beyond the arc and also grabbed three rebounds.

Towson game began a productive stretch in which he scored in nine straight games, averaging 6.0 points and 3.0 rebounds.

Scored seven points at Drexel (1/28) and then had 11 points and a season-high six rebounds in win at William & Mary (1/31) . . . Hit three three-pointers against the Tribe . . . Added six points, four rebounds and two assists in win over Delaware (2/7) and then five points at Towson (2/11).

2007-08:

Started 11 games . . . Averaged 4.6 points and 2.5 rebounds on the season but improved to 7.3 ppg and 3.5 rpg for the last six games while hitting eight of his last 14 three-pointers.

Had 13 points and a career-high seven rebounds in win over Jacksonville State (2/23). Put the Panthers ahead for good with a pair of free throws with six minutes left, then added a field goal for a four-point lead . . . Contributed eight points, three rebounds and a career-best four steals against UNC Wilmington (2/20).

Had seven points and two rebounds in the final five minutes of the Panthers’ win over Drexel (1/30). Hit consecutive field goals to give State a five-point lead with 2:36 to play, then sank three of four free throws in the final 15 seconds to seal the win . . . Also had a good performance in win over Northeastern (2/16) with eight points and five rebounds . . . Added seven points against Old Dominion (2/2)

Career-high 14 points against Georgia Tech (12/5) as he went 5-for-5 from the floor, including two three-pointers, and 2-for-2 from the free throw line . . . Eleven points and career-best seven rebounds in win over Troy (11/24) . . . Had eight points, including the first two three-pointers of his career, and four rebounds at Florida State (11/20)

Made his first career start against Elon (11/17) and had five points, three rebounds and two steals . . . Scored nine points, his high for a CAA game, against Old Dominion (12/1).

2006-07:

Played in 14 games off the bench as a freshman . . . Averaged 2.1 points and 1.4 rebounds per game . . . Shot 78.6 percent from the free throw line, hitting on 11-of-14, and 50 percent from the field connecting on 9-of-18.

Helped Georgia State to a pair of wins over his older brother, Richard, who plays for Alabama State . . . Scored four points, grabbed a season-high seven rebounds and blocked a shot in the Panthers' home win over Alabama State . . . Added two points and two rebounds in the victory at Alabama State . . . Played 14 minutes in each game . . . Scored a season-high five points and pulled down two rebounds at Towson . . . Added three points each vs. Winston-Salem State and Savannah State.

HIGH SCHOOL:

Played high school basketball at Sandy Creek High before spending one year at North Atlanta Prep Academy . . . Averaged 18 points per game in leading North Atlanta Prep to a 29-9 record in 2005-06 . . . Top scoring game was a 35-point outing.
