AT GEORGIA STATE:
Played two seasons for the Panthers before electing to transfer . . . Aggressive point guard who made his mark with a productive late-season stretch, starting the final six games of his sophomore season . . . Good shooter and ball-handler.
2007-08:
Moved into the starting lineup at point guard for the final six games of the season and averaged 12.2 points and 3.3 assists for his starts . . . Shot 41 percent (9-for-22) from three-point range, and 80 percent (20-for-25) from the free throw line in his six starts . . . Season averages of 5.9 points, 1.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game . . . Averaged 8.0 ppg while shooting 50 percent from the field and 53 percent from three-point range in CAA games.
Made his first start against Northeastern (2/16) and led the Panthers with a then-career high 15 points in the 57-55 win; hit two three-pointers and also contributed three rebounds, two assists and a steal
Bettered that one game later with 19 points against UNC Wilmington (2/20) on 6-for-10 shooting with three treys . . . Also had a career-best six assists against the Seahawks.
Scored 16 points in win over Jacksonville State (2/23), going 8-for-10 from the free throw line. His trey put the Panthers ahead 73-67 with four minutes left, then he hit six straight free throws in the last two minutes
Contributed 13 points (6-for-7 from the field) and six assists, tying his career high, in win over Towson (2/27)
Scored 10 points in the second half at Old Dominion (2/2), hitting two three-pointers . . . Added four points, including a trey with four minutes left, an assist and a steal in 12 minutes against VCU (2/6), and four points at Hofstra (2/9)
Played 17 minutes against Winston-Salem State (12/8), contributing three points, two rebounds and an assist . . . Saw significant action in win at Jacksonville (11/28), when he played six important minutes in the second half after an injury to starting point guard Trae Goldston. Had one basket and one assist . . . Had two points and a steal against Drexel (1/16).
2006-07:
Saw action in six games as a freshman and averaged 1.2 points and 1.0 assists per game . . . His first college game was at Georgia Tech, when he scored a basket and had an assist as he played against his cousin, Tech's Ty Anderson . . . Scored three points with a field goal and a free throw in win over Alabama State . . . Handed out three assists against William & Mary . . . Added two points at Towson and one rebound at Iowa . . . Had an assist while playing a season-high 14 minutes at Old Dominion.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Averaged 12 points and seven assists as a senior for Centennial High School in metro Atlanta . . . Three-year letterwinner for coach Todd Willis . . . Helped his team to 37 wins over his final two years, including 19 as a senior, when Centennial reached the Sweet 16 of the state tournament . . . Top scoring game was a 25-point night against region rival Roswell . . . Named North Fulton County Player of the Week and was tabbed to the preseason "Top Five Players to Watch" by the local newspaper . . . As a junior, he helped Centennial defeat the nation's No. 21-ranked team, East Hall, by recording a double-double with 10 points and 12 assists.

Born Michael Moynihan on July 12, 1987, in Atlanta . . . Son of Matt and Patricia Moynihan . . . Mother is Charles and Joyce Driesell's daughter, which makes Michael the oldest of Lefty Driesell's 10 grandchildren . . . Grew up watching his grandfather coach the Panthers from 1997-2003 . . . Has a younger brother, Patrick, and a younger sister, Morgan . . . Cousin, Ty Anderson, plays at Georgia Tech . . . Majoring in history at Georgia State.
