Made ten appearances during his junior year, including one start against Alabama State...Pitched 15.1 innings, striking out 15...Earned one appearance in the Panthers run through the CAA Championship, throwing 1.1 innings of the championship game...Threw a career-high three innings of relief against UT-Martin on March 13th...Earned a career-high four strikeouts against Savannah State on March 18th.

David was born on March 13, 1987, in Atlanta ... He is the youngest son of Edgard and Deana Ferrer, and has two brothers, Erick and Brian, and one sister, Amy ... He is a second generation collegiate baseball player, as his father played at Mercer University, before playing professionally in the Venezuelan leagues and for the Kansas City Royals ... Currently majoring in exercise science.
