Started the opening weekend at shortstop in place of injured Justin Jones and hit .286 ... Drove in two runs with a pinch-hit single and a bases loaded walk vs. Coppin State (2-26-19) ... Drove in a run with a bunt single in win over Arkansas State (3-20-16).
Made the first mound appearance of his college career in the ninth inning vs. Savannah State (3-15-16); came on with two on and two out and retired the only batter he faced ... Needed just three pitches to retire Georgia Tech (4-20-16) in the ninth inning. After allowing a leadoff single, he rolled a double play and then a groundout ... Earned his first victory in 11-inning win vs. Appalachian State as he recorded the final out in the top of the 11th before the Panthers scored three in the bottom of the inning ... Pitched six scoreless innings, allowing three hits with a career-high five strikeouts but did not figure in the decision in 8-7 win over Alabama A&M (5-4-16).
